A matching skirt to go along with a fitting top can enhance your beauty and in the other cases it can make you look dull. Moreover the right type of color combination is also necessary depending on the type of job or work that you do. For example a businesswoman would prefer dark skirts to go along with lighter tops. A receptionist would rather prefer skirt and top to match in color a bit more then having a contrast created between them.

Last thing that you should keep in your mind is to select the matching shoes as well as stockings that would blend in with the colors of your skirt.
